House Captains Leadership Evening 22nd August

House Captains Leadership Evening
The House Captains Leadership evening was held on Wednesday the 22nd August. It gives the House Captains from 2nd to 6thYear a chance to meet the House Captains in their respective houses from different years and learn about Leadership through different talks and different team challenges.
The Union were asked to supply five speakers to talk at the event, to talk what they understand leadership to be and how they have developed their leadership skills throughout their time in school and then onto the working world.
The five speakers were Pierce Dargan (2011), Brian Kingston (2009), James Delahunt (2007), Alan Dalton (1999) and Bob Casey (1996). Each speaker provided the boys with great insight into leadership and the boys seemed to get a lot from the evening. I would like to thank the speakers for giving up their time to come in and speak. This event has really kicked off the year and the Union are in full flow for the 2018/2019 academic year. The next event is the President̢۪s Prize Golf Outing on the 7th September in Elm Park Golf Club.
