Dear Friends, I am delighted to share some great news from our school in Machakos. We have just received the KCSE results (Leaving Cert), First time for our school.
Out of the 48 students, 24 (50%) scored between C+ and A-. This qualifies them to join University.
Another 20 scored between a C and a C-. These students qualify to join public or technical colleges.
4 students got D+.They can join Technical schools.
One student Stephen Waweru got an A- which was the eight best result in the county (Read his story attached written in 2014). Another John Muia got a B which was the third best in the school. Both these boys came from very poor backgrounds and were sponsored by The Mission Fund.
Without us these boys would not have gone to school !
Thank you to everyone who supports us, and please spread the word, as we have 21 kids looking for sponsorship now. It costs 700 euro pa, and we can give tax receipts.
