5th Year Career Talks

âThe Career Talks to 5th Year Boys took place across two Saturdays in January.
Each boy was asked to choose a favoured career option with these career options then being matched with speakers provided by the Union (mostly past-pupils but some current parents).
Across the 2 Saturdays, we had 31 different speakers covering 18 different career options and it was pleasing to see the increased numbers expressing an interest in careers in science, technology and technology.
Huge thanks to all the speakers for giving up their Saturday mornings.
Thanks also to Alan McGinty and Fr. Tom Nash for taking the time to come and meet the speakers on the days and to Brigid OâByrne from the Union Office and Natasha Drew from the College Careers Department for pulling it all together so quickly once the new School Term started.â
