London Business Lunch – Friday 8th February

More than 100 past pupils and their guests attended the fourth annual Union Business Lunch on Friday 8th February.
The event was held, once again, at the magnificent Smith & Wollensky restaurant near Covent Garden.
The Union̢۪s London honouree for 2019 is David Barry (Class of 1980) and he spoke fondly of his time at Blackrock during his entertaining Q&A with Bob Casey (Class of 1996) who was the MC for the day.
President John Rogan and Principal of the College Alan MacGinty also spoke about the activities of the Union and the College respectively and the guest speaker was the former Ireland rugby coach Declan Kidney, now the Director of Rugby with London Irish. We thank all who attended and look forward to our traditional pre-Twickenham event in twelve months̢۪ time.
