First Union Graduate Career Advice Evening

The Union Careers Team working with the UnionĂ¢€™s Junior Committee organised a Graduate Career Advice Evening in Blackrock College yesterday evening.
The evening was targeted at final year undergraduates and was planned to offer them the chance to meet and question experienced practitioners from their chosen career areas. The event was a great success with a great turn out from 2011 & 2012 school leavers now nearing the end of their undergraduate studies. The career areas covered were;
Accountancy and Financial Management
Financial Services
Sales & Marketing.
The advice was provided by past pupils, Cian Harty-BOI, David Nyhan-Accenture, Eunan OĂ¢€™Carroll-Core Consulting, Frank Keane-Eisneramper and David Regan-Accenture.
The Careers Team would like to thank the past pupils who generously gave up their time and offered such valuable career advice to the undergraduates. We would also like to thank David Sherry and Brian Kingston of the Junior Committee, who were of such help in organising last evenings event.
A similar Graduate Career Advice Evening is planned for early November, specifically to provide advice to undergraduates interested in careers in Law.
