Andrew Mullaney Class of 2001 spoke about his latest venture premind.AI. Andrew co-founder of Newswhip is keen to start a business all over again. He’s creating predictive technology to help fund managers make better investment decisions. This is an exciting area, and it will be interesting to see how AI has an impact on the Investment management space.
Robert O’Farrell class of 2000, CTO of ID pal gave an insight into his company. The importance of validating money laundering documentation is becoming more important. IDPAl have a very quick validation process to validate a customer’s identity, using financial technology. They have won numerous awards and are expanding.
Graham Carrick (class of 2003) COO of Assurehedge spoke about his company, and how they offer an FX solution/currency hedge solution to brokers, banks and other payment institutions. Assurehedge are expanding rapidly, and it’s great to see that provide a white labelling solution to Financial Institutions. John Murray was the MC and provided an engaging panel discussion.
There was a good turnout of approximately 35 people and a big thank you must to go to Andrew Lynch of Huckletree who provided a great venue. Huckletree are trying to become Ireland’s leading Fintech hub.
