November will be a particularly busy month for those involved in the staging and production of the Senior Musical and Blackrock College Radio (BCR).
Under the expert direction of Toirleac OâBrien the Senior cycle boys will collaborate with their Mount Anville counterparts for a four night run of âLes Misérablesâ (November 21
st â 24
th). Union night at the Musical will be on Thursday 23

. The Transition Year boys will take to the airwaves from Monday November 20
th to broadcast BCR (97.3FM and streamed live on
www.blackrockcollege.com). This fantastic project will provide a mix of news, sport, feature interviews and music to a captive audience within a 5 mile radius of the College. Make sure to turn your dial that week and listen in.
The annual Swimming Gala took place on Thursday October 19
th. The feature event, The Principalâs Trophy was won by Max Connolly (5th Year) with David Cosgrave (4th Year) a close second. Adam OâReilly (3rd Year) won the Junior Championship from Ciaran Conway (3rd Year) in another very competitive race. It was a great evening, superbly organised.
