The SCT open their defence of the Leinster Senior Cup against Gonzaga on 28th January. Ray Wards boys could be on course for a semi final meeting with St. Michaels, a replay of last years knife edge final. The final this year, due to the demise of Landsdowne Rd. will be held in Donnybrook. In the Junior Cup, holders Blackrock face a tough task in the opening round against 2005 winners Belvedere College. However if they get through that theyll feel their name is on the cup.
